Are you being disconnected?

I used to think that my life is useless, no one cares about me, some say i'm not fashionable (though i don't think i am) i made very few friends. Daddy just left even before i knew he's my dad. Life got worse when grandpa past away. Me and all my brothers and sisters were raised by my aunt, my mom's older sister. My mother left to java with my dad when i was about 3years old and she past away when i was about 10 or 11 (i don't remember exactly). I hate my birth mom and dad for just neglecting us since we were just little kids. I thought my life is an accident. I used to worry 'bout my future, who would love me, who would accept me the way that i'am. I didn't have self confidence. THOUGH I HAVE A GREAT DREAM. I was afraid of being Disconected just because of my past until i finally hear what God says about me. He made me to read the story of Joseph in Genesis 45. HE SAYS : "YOUR LIFE IS NOT AN ACCIDENT, IT'S MY PLAN... Because you're worthy in My sight and because I love you". The same thing i wanna say to everyone who is feelin' disconnected and unworthy, "YOUR LIFE IS NOT AN ACCIDENT, IT'S GOD'S PLAN THAT YOU MAY BRING PROSPERITY TO YOUR FAMILY, TO YOUR CITY AND TO YOUR COUNTRY, No matter how they try to get you down, they can never fail what God has plan about you." Now that i'm a different man than i used to be. I have God's dream to be fulfilled in me. YOU TOO.

Death Would Not Wait

Today I was surprised by the news of the death of one of my acquaintance who also was my teacher, she was also the jury of my debate competition when I was in high school.
We were often involved in the debate as jury, as I graduated. I was very shocked when I heard the news of her death. How not, as I recall, she was still in good health two weeks ago, when we got together organizing debate competition for high school kids. I didn’t even see the signs of sickness in her face. She was so healthy.

Also last night when I was in church, we talked about the murder case of a first high school student who conducted cruel. I got to think, why do people want to do a sadistic crime like that?

I also remember what happened last week when one of my friends called and asked for prayer for his brother who was in a coma and dying in the hospital. I still recall praying for his brother, although I wasn’t there with them in the hospital, I prayed from the church. I even contacted some friends as well for praying together We were so confident of the healing of our friend’s brother, we believed that he will be touched by God and be healed. But several minutes later I got news that my friend's brother had just breathed his last breath.

I then thought, why death comes so quickly?
I am sure, my friend never wanted his brother to go that soon and I'm also sure, that the junior high school student and my teacher never thought they would be called so soon as well.

.This afternoon I was lying in my bed thinking about this. I finally learned something, “Do not care whenever we are called home by the Father, at what time anyway, and by any means. We only need to know, as long as we have close and intimate relationship with Him who created us, death is not something that is so shocking and shaking”.

We do not need to know when are we going to die. What we need to know is where we go when we die.
Because after all, no matter you believe it or not, like it or not, but I just want to say, you will only spend your eternity in one of these two places; HEAVEN, OR HELL.

There’s no place in between. Even earth cannot be your hiding place.

Perhaps you often think, why sometimes God calls people so quickly.
You may also ask, what about the fate of those who do not know God? God impressed to not to give them the chance/opportunity. But if truth be told, God has given us many opportunities every day.
Every breath we breathe, every blink of our eyes, and each of our pulse, an opportunity is given by God. Opportunity for what? Opportunity to seek Him, know Him and open our hearts to Him.

It is written, "Seek the Lord while He may be found, call on Him while He is near".

Brother, I want to tell you, if you read this, be assured that God is waiting for you and He is pleased that you meet him. Do not waste your chance, because you can never know what will happen to you or the people closest to you after you finish reading this article.

Remind the people around you about this. Because all this week God taught me about this, which is to seek the Lord and call upon Him while He is near and may be found, because when He no longer so close to us, then it is death that come close to us.

God will continue to give us the opportunity while He is close to us and while He still may be found by us, BUT, when death comes it would not give you the opportunity again, even just to regret your life. DEATH WOULD NOT WAIT.

Are you ready?

I want to end this article with two questions:

1. If you died today, do you believe that you will go to heaven?
2. If you died today and you stand before God and God asked you, "why should I let you enter my Paradise?"

Put It In The Right Hand

Lately I learned a lot with the Lord. You may not believe but when I fall away and weak, the Lord came and spoke to me as if I speak with my own friends. Sometimes I feel weird (and of course people think I'm weird for talking to myself) but that's my experience.

Some time ago I felt weak, not appreciated, not acceptable and undeserve, but this is what God taught me and I want to share with you:

@ A basketball in my hands cost only Rp.50 thousand, but in the hands of a Michael Jordan, it costs Rp.5 million.

@ A foot ball in my hand cost only Rp.75 thousand, but in the hands of a Ricardo Kaka it costs RP. 75 million.

@ A guitar in my hand cost only Rp.500 thousand, but in the hands of Paul Gilbert it costs Rp.500 million.

THE COST DEPENDS ON THE HANDS THAT HOLD IT

@ A tennis racket in my hand means sport, but in the hand of Serena Williams it means Wimbledon champion.

@ A pen in my hand is just a stationary, but in the hand of Don Moen it means new songs for God.

@ A stick in my hand can only be used to drive away animals, but in the hand of Moses it could split the ocean.

@ A slingshot in my hand is just a toy, but in the hands David it is an incredible weapon.

@ 2 fish and 5 loaves in my hands means 2 fish sandwiches, but in the hands of Jesus 2 fish and 5 loaves means satiation for 5000 men

@ Nails and wood in my hand would mean a new place for my dog, but the nails and wood in the hands of Jesus means salvation for the whole world.

YOU SEE? THE VALUE DEPENDS ON THE HANDS THAT HOLD IT

What I want to say is, There is hope for your future, your family, your relationships, your dreams, BUT it all depends on whose hands you lay it all.

YOUR LIFE’S VALUE DEPENDS ON THE HANDS THAT HOLD IT.
