A man came home from work late again, tired and irritated, to find his 5 year old son waiting for him at the door. "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"

"Yeah, sure, what is it?" replied the man.

"Daddy, how much money do you make an hour?

"That's none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.

"I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?" pleaded the little boy.

"If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour."

"Oh," the little boy replied, head bowed. Looking up, he said, "Daddy, may I borrow $10.00 please?"

The father was furious. "If the only reason you wanted to know how much money I make is just so you can borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you're being so selfish. I work long, hard hours everyday and don't have time for such childish games."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy's questioning. How dare him ask such questions only to get some money.

After an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son. Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00, and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. "Are you asleep son?" he asked.

"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.

"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier," said the man. "It's been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here's that $10.00 you asked for."

The little boy sat straight up, beaming. "Oh, thank you daddy!" he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills. The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at the man.

"Why did you want more money if you already had some?" the father grumbled.

"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.

"Daddy, I have $20.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?"

Share some time with those who need you.
They need our time more then we will ever know.

I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu, kept people looking so hard for facts, and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books are not capitalized, but the truth finally struck home to numbers of readers. To others, it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of the 17, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concenrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are the names of 17 books of the Bible in these sentences. (One preacher found 16 books in 20 minutes. It took him three weeks to find the seventeenth one.)

Sometimes I feel that my life is a series of trapeze swings. I'm either hanging on to a trapeze bar swinging along or, for a few moments in my life, I'm hurtling across space in between trapeze bars.

Most of the time, I spend my life hanging on for dear life to my trapeze-bar-of-the-moment. It carries me along a certain steady rate of swing and I have the feeling that I'm in control of my life. I know most of the right questions and even some of the right answers. But once in a while, as I'm merrily (or not so merrily) swinging along, I look ahead of me into the distance, and what do I see? I see another trapeze bar swinging toward me. It's empty, and I know, in that place that knows, that this new trapeze bar has my name on it. It is my next step, my growth, my aliveness going to get me. In my heart-of-hearts I know that for me to grow, I must release my grip on the present, well known bar to move to the new one.

Each time it happens to me, I hope (no, I pray) that I won't have to grab the new one. But in my knowing place I know that I must totally release my grasp on my old bar, and for some moment in time hurtle across space before I can grab onto the new bar. Each time I am filled with terror. It doesn't matter that in all my previous hurtles across the void of unknowing, I have always made it. Each time I am afraid I will miss, that I will be crushed on the unseen rocks in the bottomless chasm between the bars. But I do it anyway. Perhaps this is the essence of what the mystics call the faith experience. No guarantees, no net, no insurance policy, but you do it anyway because somehow, to keep hanging onto that old bar is no longer on the list of alternatives. And so for an eternity that can last a microsecond or a thousand lifetimes, I soar across the dark void of "the past is gone, the future is not yet here." It's called transition. I have come to believe that it is the only place that real change occurs. I mean real change, not the pseudo-change that only lasts until the next time my old buttons get punched.

I have noticed that, in our culture, this transition zone is looked upon as a "no-thing", a no-place between places. Sure the old trapeze-bar was real, and that new one coming towards me, I hope that's real too. But the void in between? That's just a scary, confusing, disorienting "nowhere" that must be gotten through as fast as unconsciously as possible. What a waste! I have a sneaking suspicion that the transition zone is the only real thing, and the bars are illusions we dream up to avoid, where the real change, the real growth occurs for us. Whether or not my hunch is true, it remains that the transition zones in our lives are incredibly rich places. They should be honored, even savored. Yes, with all the pain and fear and feelings of being out-of-control that can (but not necessarily) accompany transitions, they are still the most alive, most growth-filled, passionate, expansive moments in our lives.

And so, transformation of fear may have nothing to do with making fear go away, but rather with giving ourselves permission to "hang- out" in the transition between trapeze bars. Transforming our need to grab that new bar, any bar, is allowing ourselves to dwell in the only place where change really happens. It can be terrifying. It can also be enlightening, in the true sense of the word. Hurtling through the void, we just may learn how to fly.

"Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith), To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:" (Hebrews 3:7-8).

Hearing God's voice??? Really? Can I?
Have you ever find those kinds of response? People are usually sceptic about this kind of spiritual experience. However, some are so enthusiastic and eager to experience it themselves.
I've seen some people came and asked, "how could you listen to God's voice, how did He speak to you, what His voice sounds like?" And the most favorite question regarding hearing God's voice is "how could I tell if it is God's voice or just my conscience?"

I want to let you know that God can speak to you and He wants to speak to you! And the good news is, His desire to speak to you is bigger than yours to hear from Him. God can speak to you through your conscience, through His creation, sometimes it is audible, but mostly He speaks to you through His word (the bible). We only need sensitivity and that kind of sensitivity can only be acquired through a relationship with Him. We can never expect to hear from Him if we never have a relationship with Him. The children of God need to hear from God every single day, we even MUST be able to hear from Him. Sometimes there are things which are emergency that God wants you to tell others and warn them about. It takes quietness and obedience! I used to tell my friends who wanted to hear from God, "Hearing God's voice is not a matter of CAN or CANNOT, its a matter of OBEDIENCE! What I mean here is that once you hear from Him you need to do whatever is said. The time you decide to not to hear what He says will cause Him to not to speak to you anymore.

It is important to always be obedient whenever He speaks cause He might want to tell the people about something or just to warn them.

It is written,
"Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith), To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:" (Hebrews 3:7-8).

The same words appears 3 times in the book of Hebrew, in Hebrew 3:7-8, 15, 4:7
What would that mean? He desires to speak to you!

I have an experience regarding the topic. I was attending a TOEFL test one day last year when suddenly I feel like something speaking in my heart to go to a nearby internet cafe. I wasn't planning to go there so I thought I'd just go home after the test to watch movie or something. Later on it happened that I went to the internet cafe, checking my email and my YM where I found a chat awaited. There a woman who was a new friend of mine asked if she could share about something else. So we chatted for more than an hour and it turned out that she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior (she was from another faith). PRAISE THE LORD! Later she told me that she was depressed by what was happening in her relationship with her fiance and she was unsure whether to share with me or not, besides, we never met before and it was just one month that we got to know each other, but she said there was a voice kept telling her to share with me so she did. A few weeks later I got an email from her saying she and her family went to church. AWESOME!!! I never knew that the voice I heard was meant for one's salvation. If I didn't listen to the voice, the woman might never come to Jesus personally.

Another testimony regarding hearing God's voice would be about a friend of mine who prayed for her aunt for salvation. She works as a teacher and got home at noon. She was tired back then when she heard a voice speaking in heart to pay a visit to her aunt who was sick. She tried to compromise as she was so tired but later she decided to follow the voice. So she went to see her aunt to encourage her, to share with her about Christ and just before she went home she felt compelled to pray for her aunt to receive Christ as her Lord and Savior. So her aunt was born again back then. As they finished praying, my friend went back home while keep praying that her aunt may be healed by God. Two days later she got a news that her aunt just passed away. WooAaa!!! Her first expression was "Praise the Lord, my aunt accepted Christ already!" Instead of grieving, she's now full of joy as she has a full assurance of her aunt's salvation.

See! God's timing is perfect. Can you imagine where her aunt would be right now if she didn't listen to the voice within her heart?

My suggestion is that you listen to His voice as He still want to let you hear from Him. Its now or never!!!
How many loss have you gone through because of your disobedient? How many regrets have you feel because of your ignorance?
My friend, let God speak to you.

"While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation." (Hebrews 3:15).

ITS NOW OR NEVER!!!

God bless you!

"I am going home to Denmark, Son, and I just wanted to tell you I love you."

In my dad's last telephone call to me, he repeated that line seven times in a half hour. I wasn't listening at the right level. I heard the words, but not the message, and certainly not their profound intent. I believed my dad would live to be over 100 years old, as my great uncle lived to be 107 years old. I had not felt his remorse over Mom's death, understood his intense loneliness as an "empty nester," or realized most of his pals had long since light-beamed off the planet. He relentlessly requested my brothers and I create grandchildren so that he could be a devoted grandfather. I was too busy "entrepreneuring" to really listen.

"Dad's dead," sighed my brother Brian on July 4, l982.

My little brother is a witty lawyer and has a humorous, quick mind. I thought he was setting me up for a joke, and I awaited the punchline - there wasn't one. "Dad died in the bed he was born in - in Rozkeldj," continued Brian. "The funeral directors are putting him in a coffin, and shipping Dad and his belongings to us tomorrow. We need to prepare for the funeral."

I was speechless. This isn't the way it's supposed to happen. If I knew these were to be Dad's final days, I would have asked to go with him to Denmark. I believe in the hospice movement, which says: "No one should die alone." A loved one should hold your hand and comfort you as you transition from one plane of reality to another. I would have offered consolation during his final hour, if I'd been really listening, thinking and in tune with the Infinite. Dad announced his departure as best he could, and I had missed it. I felt grief, pain and remorse, Why had I not been there for him? He'd always been there for me.

In the mornings when I was nine years old, he would come home from working 18 hours at his bakery and wake me up at 5:00 A.M. by scratching my back with his strong powerful hands and whispering, "Time to get up, Son." By the time I was dressed and ready to roll, he had my newspapers folded, banded and stuffed in my bicycle basket. Recalling his generosity of spirit brings tears to my eyes.

When I was racing bicycles, he drove me 50 miles each way to Kenosha, Wisconsin, every Tuesday night so I could race and he could watch me. He was there to hold me if I lost and shared the euphoria when I won.

Later, he accompanied me to all my local talks in Chicago when I spoke to Century 21, Mary Kay, Equitable and various churches. He always smiled, listened and proudly told whomever he was sitting with, "That's my boy!"

After the fact, my heart was in pain because Dad was there for me and I wasn't there for him. My humble advice is to always, always share your love with your loved ones, and ask to be invited to that sacred transitional period where physical life transforms into spiritual life. Experiencing the process of death with one you love will take you into a bigger, more expansive dimension of beingness.

There's a story about a man who was slowly losing his memory. After an examination, the doctor said that an operation on his brain might reverse his condition and restore his memory. However, the surgery would be so delicate that a nerve might be severed , causing total blindness.

"What would you rather have," asked the surgeon, "your sight or your memory?" The man pondered the question for a few moments and then replied, "my sight, because I would rather see where I am going than remember where I have been."

In Philippians 3, the apostle Paul made the same choice spiritually.
His past, with it's success and it's shame, he chose to forget. What mattered to him was keeping his eyes on the goal of gaining Christ's approval.

That kind of mindset is one sure mark of Christian maturity. It's what God is working to develop in our lives (Philippians 3:13-15).

"We can't forget our past, of course, but we don't have to live in it."

Any good we may have done is from God, so we can only be thankful. When we confess our sins, they are buried in the deepest sea. Let's not keep dredging them up.

So in this new year, what do you choose? To see or to remember?

"If you keep looking back, you can't make spiritual progress"

God Bless You all

"Song of The Broken Hope"

There are times when I think I can trust people. But as I try to do so, they fail me. Sometimes I think I really have found the ones I can lean on but as time goes by, they leave me out. The ones that give me hope have been the ones who break it, the ones who strengthened me have been the ones who make me weak. Just when I think I found hope, it disapears from me. Too soon, I tasted happiness for a second but then it turned out brokeness. I wont blame You Lord, just let me see Your plans behind it all.

NOT A SUPERHERO!

I am not a superhero, i don't like striving to be counted in the group of THE COOL ones. I am who I am, I don't like trying to be somebody else juz to fit in. I love the way that I am. Don't ask me to be like what you want me to be. I am not pursuing your dreams for my future but am pursuing God's dreams for my life. I don't care how would you call me, a freak or whatever! I juz wanna hear what God says about me. Am I being so spiritual? You decide, but this is me! YES THIS IS ME!

"What's in a HOPE???"

Hope, have you heard of that word? Have you been hopeing for something? They say it keeps us alive, they say it does not disapoint. Now what you think about hope? What's in a hope that keeps you believing in what you've been dreaming of? Now tell me, what if you never get what you've been hopeing for? What would you call that? Would it still not disapointing? Complicated huh? That is hope. Just like faith and love, hope is unexplainable. I believe there's a marvelous power in hope. We only need to trust!

"People come people go.."
Sitting by the street looking at the oncoming vechicles. They're just like the people in my life, come and go, never stay.
They gave me light as they were right in front of me, but then they left me with shadow as they were passing me by.

Thay gave me breeze as they're coming, but left me with smoke as they're gone..

Nothing last forever but HIS love for me.
He never passes me by, once HE came He'll stay forever.
Now that I know, Jesus is all I need. What else I could ever need?

THANK YOU JESUS

God taught me a lot of things lately. Now I know He always gives me all that asked of Him but somehow I didn't realise it and not be grateful about it. I know now, all the laughter, tears, happiness and pain happened because I asked Him. I only need sometime to remember when. One thing I've learned, be sure with what you're asking of Him since you never know if it would cause you a regret later. I mean if you knew you'd need more than what you're asking, ask it now! Because He will give what you ask!

“Yesus, pernahkah Engkau jatuh cinta?” Anda tahu apa jawab-Nya? “IYA!”
Haha, wow!!! Tuhanku pernah jatuh cinta!
Mendapat jawaban yang begitu mengejutkan, sayapun akhirnya tergelitik untuk bertanya lagi, “Yesus, Engkau pernah merasakan patah hati?” Sekali lagi Ia menjawab “IYA.” Saya hanya menggelengkan kepala.

Jesus

Semoga tulisan singkat saya memberkati anda.

On this Valentine's Day, I want to share something I learned and discovered about Love. I've seen several stories of love, reading fiction novels and heard tales of true love. Everyone knows that falling in love is natural and anyone could fall in love, but there is an intriguing question that has made me think hard, "Did Jesus In Love?"
Have any of you ever think of that? This may sound funny but if you find the answer, I promise you'll find the greatest love story ever written in history.

Long enough that I keep the question in my mind. I wanted to ask my mentor, but I am afraid that it would sounds ridiculous and I’ll be ridiculed, hehe . I finally decided to ask directly to the Person. Yes, I asked Jesus, as I usually do.

"Jesus, have you ever been in love?" You know what His answer is? "YES!"
Haha, wow! My God ever fall in love!
Having a surprising answer, I intrigued to ask again, "Jesus, have you ever feel a broken heart?" Once again He answered "YES." Man I just shook my head.
I became more and more curious to ask, "Have you been rejected by your loved one?" Again and again He said, "YES"

One last question which was my ultimate question, and I'm sure if you were there when this conversation took place, you would be asking the same thing. Yes, I asked him, "Who is that woman's name?"
The answer I finally got really opened up my eyes to see the real true love story and know who the real True Lover is. When I asked the question about the woman's name, Jesus replied, "The woman's name is Church!"

Yes, the name of the woman is Church! The woman who once was stuck at the heart of Jesus and will always be in His heart. The woman who hurt him, the woman who more than once rejected His love. But do you know what Jesus said about the woman?
"I still love her, and will always love her. She was on My mind as I died. "

Jesus then said, "Humans have a variety of ways to express their love for the beloved. Some give flower, some will write poem, some use a song, but I , I even gave My own life to the woman I loved, but still I was rejected."

"I was hurt, I was rejected, I felt a deep pain." "If only she knew how big the price I had to pay just to prove how much I love her, but I know, true love will never insist."

Friends, you probably have a long time bitterness toward the people you love, maybe you’ve been hurt, you may feel rejected.
Maybe you've lost your faith to all people, you may feel no one even Jesus understand what you’re going through.
But this is what Jesus wants to say to you:

"I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE GOING THROUGH. I HAVE BEEN THERE! "I know how it feels to love, I know how it feels to be hurt, and I also know how it feels to be rejected. I really understand because I've been there!"

Friends, I don’t know what you’re going through, but He does. Because He is a well experienced Lover.

Now what do you think, what is the greatest love story in history? Ever since that conversation, I finally realized, the real true love story is not the love story of Romeo and Juliet, is not a love story of Jack and Rose in Titanic, nor Beauty and the Beast, but the love story of Jesus and the Church. That is the greatest love story ever in history.

To end this article I want to give a piece of love letter written by Jesus to the woman whom He loves so much. Church, if you are there, this letter is for you.

" Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you.
Till the time you grow old I am still Him, and until the white hair I carry you. I've done and want to take you on; I want to take you and save you.
See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands; your walls remain in the room of my eyes.
Because even mountains move and the hills sway, but My true love will not depart from you and My covenant of peace will not be swayed. "

With Love,
Jesus

Hopefully my short writing bless you.

As I knew this secret, I started to realize what a power God has blessed us with. The whole universe, the whole galaxy was made from nothing to something.
God spoke and His words turned to all created things. There was no light but God said "Let there be light!" and there was light.
The light was made by and of His word. His word always turn to what is spoken.
I don't know what you're going through but you have His word with you and as you speak forth His word, you'll see whats going to happen.

Be blessed.

And Jesus prayed : "Father if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; not My will but Yours be done."

Jesus faced a hard decision at that moment since He was dealing with many people's life.

His decision will set the future of our lives.

Can you imagine what your life would turn out to if Jesus stopped at the first sentence?

Since He gave up His will that the salvation may be yours and mine!

BE THANKFUL.

Its what I learned today. My teacher spoke this words that really stood out to me; "You got to see beyond the mountain"

I believe its true. We got to be able to see blessing that is behind our mountain of suffering n strugle, because at the end ONLY THOSE WHO CAN SEE THE INVISIBLE CAN DO THE IMPOSSIBLE.

Bless you all,

Jack L

New Revelation.
Have you felt like God was about to give/gave you the desire of your heart when suddenly He took it all back and then you see He did it for the good of somebody else? Or He allowed you to be broken just to help one soul?
I've gone through it, I asked Him why n He answered : "It is the potter who decides the use of a vessel, whether to carry water, oil or wine. A vessel must ready to carry a burden before somebody could drink from it."
We are the vessel n God is the Potter.

Bless you.

I read through my bible about fasting today and just as I started to read, God revealed this to me :
"Fasting is not about resisting our physical hunger but is to become aware of our spiritual hunger"

Have you ever feel despair, hopeless, broken heart, failure and disapointment?
I wanna share something with you.

On march last year I applied for Youth Exchange and I got accepted in SSEAYP (Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program), a leadership training for Japan and Southeast Asian Youth.
After got the call from local committee I was asked to prepare everything needed for the program. Nevertheless, since there was no official letter from the central government about the program that I was supposed to join, I was told to wait till they get further information. So I waited and waited. The ex-participant of the program from the previous year helped me to get the contacts of some other participants of the year so that we could share information. I tried to get all the documents ready, did net conference with other participants to get the updates of the program. I did my best for the preparation as it is my childhood dream to be able to join exchange.
It turned out a disapointment however.
Been waited for a couple months without further information from the local committee,I started to doubt about my departure and so I decided to contact the committee at the central government to ask about my departure but the answer I got was so shocking and disapointing, "Sorry, there's no quota for your province this year. Aren't you informed already? Just pray, if you are lucky then maybe next year"

I put my phone down and said "thanks Jesus, you still have everything under control" eventhough deep inside my heart I felt great disapointment. I knew God must have another plan for me by allowing me to pass the test.
I was ssoooo disapointed back then, but suddenly God spoke to me through a friend in Texas, saying : The wind might be strong, the wave might strike you down, but don't be discouraged
"I AM IN THE SAME BOAT WITH YOU"

I remembered the story of Jesus and the disciples when Jesus calmed the hurricane. He said "where's your faith???"

I stood up and decided to not to feel bad coz I know God must have another plan. I chose to believe in His plan.

Even if they said I wasn't going back then, but I felt God spoke in my heart very clearly "I open the door that nobody can shut!"
I was compelled to prepare all the documents, I knew it was the Holy Spirit speaking in my heart. I didn't lose hope. The voice kept speaking in my heart "when God says you're going, men can't say you're staying". So I just waited for what God wanted to do. It wasn't easy though, waited for around 5 months with no information at all. My faith was really tested to trust God's promise even when the situation show the other way around. But you know what, after done the ministry with a team from America, I got a call from Jakarta said "Jack, you're going"
Wwoooaahh!!! What a surprise.
Long story short, I joined the program which later I knew is the most expensive exchange program in Asia. What a blessing!

See, God is good. I really learned a lot. Sometimes when things go wrong and when the situations are so overwhelming, we are so easily discouraged, not knowing that Jesus is right there with us. Yes, HE IS IN THE SAME BOAT!

Glory to the King,

Bless you all, JACK LOLOIN.

HE CALLS ME (PART 1)

Can't believe SSEAYP 2010 is over. Three weeks full of discipline training with less sleep, 2 months of cruise around Japan and Southeast Asia really was an amazing experience. Being able to meet new people, having courtesy call to the state leaders of different countries and many other good things really taught me a lot.

it was a really nice trip that really broaden my view about Asia and of course it taught what it means to be an ambassador representing my country. The more I go the more I love being an Asian.

I'm proud to be Indonesian in that during and after the program. I learned how to respect our flag and national symbol "The Garuda" (Hawk) symbolizing power and greatness. SSEAYP really taught me a lot and of course brought me to see the real Asia, from Kupang to Ciputat, Cibubur (jakarta), Narita, Tokyo, Gifu, Yokohama (Japan) , Klang, Kuala Lumpur , Selangor, Putra Jaya (Malaysia) , Bangkok-Thailand, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam, and here I am now back in my home town, The Rocky City of Kupang - West Timor.

Bellow is a glimpse of my testimony, how God has been so good to me. Hope you will be blessed.

It all started years ago when me and my twin brother were around one year old where my twin brother-Joe suffered from hepatitis and was dying in the hospital. The disease spread so quickly that within couple of weeks thousands of babies were contagious. Slowly but sure those babies died one by one. That was a year of great loss in my city, a year of mourning. There's a very little chance for Joe to recover. I was in the same age as Joe but I wasn't suffered from the disease. They said I couldn't sleep at night before I see Joe at the hospital, so my mom's sister and her husband would take me to the hospital every night to see Joe otherwise I would cry the whole night. I love the fact that God put this bond of brotherhood in us since our early age. My twin brother is my greatest legacy after mom is gone. Back to my story, everyone was in great despair and ready to face the reality that Joe would die soon. But in that moment of despair God sent His servant to the hospital where Joe was being taken care of. He came and prayed for Joe and then He said to my mom (my aunt_she's the one who took care of me and all my brothers and sisters since we were baby ) this boy will not die! God has ordained him to be a servant of God when he grows up. And yes it happened as what the guy said. Out of a thousand babies suffered, only three of them survived, one is my twin brother. What a miracle!!! Praise the Lord!

As I grew up I started to ask God about my destiny. One day I came to a point where I said to God, "we are twin so if you called my brother to serve You I believe You call me too." So I asked Him to tell what am I supposed to be. Later I found myself involved in religious activities and youth communities. I still had no idea though about what I was called to do, all I knew is that He called me. One day in 2007 we had a team coming from YWaM Perth and I had a chance doing ministry with them. That's when I met Ps.Irene who is called ibu by the YWaM team. I remember we were praying together one day and in her prayer she said, Jack I can see you like David. I didn't know what would that mean back then. Then I started to lead christian youth community where I felt I found my destiny, a leader. So I kept praying for that and God kept revealing things to me and gave me confirmations.

I got myself involved in the biggest christian youth movement in town where I became more passionate to God and His calling and one day in 2009 we had one more team coming from YWaM Perth. We had a night of fellowship with them before they went back to Australia. One of them came and prayed for me. Unlike the other team members, she didn't ask me what to pray for, instead she said I'll ask God what should I pray for you. She started to close her eyes and pray for a few moment. Then she told me one thing that I didn't really understand back then (or I forgot). She told me this : Jack, I don't understand but I feel like God is preparing you like David. There's gonna be goliaths coming your way but with the power of God you'll defeat them, God is preparing you to be a leader, I was blown away by what she said. We were quiet for a moment and then I realized that it was the same thing that Ps.Irene said. So I told her about that and she was like "Really??? Owh cool, I wasn't even sure whether to tell you or not. ??!!!/:#*#!?/(+@#???

Well, life wasn't easy the days after. My world was changed since then. It felt like I was a big bottle placed on top of a stand and all of a sudden somebody threw a big stone on me. I was broken. I went through hard times in life, broken relationship, disapoinment, hurts, unreliability, and many other ungood things. The first person I thought I should find is Annelise (the one who prayed for me). Its because of her prayer that my life is messed up, I thought. If she didn't pray it all won't be happening. I felt sorry to let her pray for me back then, not knowing that its a part of God's master plan about me. So I told her to pray for me for strength. I kept her posted about myself but later I felt like I was too dependant on her coz I thought she prayed and it all happened so she better pray that I'll get through this. (Hehe, Sorry Annelise :) ) I asked her to keep praying for me. There's something she said which really encouraging back then, didn't know where she quoted it from, hehe, but here's what she said

"One day you will look back on this day and say, yes those experiences just made me stronger".

I felt better for sometime. But as fast as the lightening strikes the earth, the enemy attacked me again. I didn't want to give up but it seemed like the more I strugled the more they attacked me. What funny was instead of compalining to people, I complained to God and to the enemy.

"GIMME A BREAK!!!" I said to the enemy (ridiculous)

Then I said to God : " I won't be able to face it all so give me freedom!!!", But tenderly He said to me : "MY SON, DON'T ASK FOR FREEDOM WHEN WHAT YOU NEED IS ENDURANCE!"

I didn't stop there, I kept arguing with God. "But its not easy. I'm messed up, I'm broken, do You even care???

But again wisely He said to me things that I'll never forget my whole life, "Things that I allow to happen to you, pains, hurts, sadness, disapoinments, they're not meant to break you, its to show how vulnerable you are and in need of Me." Jack, I cannot use a vulnerable person to lead my people! You've got to be strong, I know you can. Its just a process, its just for now!

Now, answer my question, did I keep David in the field taking care of the animals forever? NO! I said. Did I keep Mosses alone in the wilderness the whole life? NO! Did their life end as shepherds? NO! How did their life end?

A LEADER, I said. You got it!!!

Now you understand, don't you? Asked God. David had to fight with the beasts in the field to protect his sheeps, so did Mosses had to leave the palace and experienced the hardship of life in the wilderness so that he might be able to lead My people out of it, said God.

"YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR WEAKNESS BEFORE YOU KNOW YOUR STRENGTH"

So, that night of fellowship had been a night of prophecy to me. Everything was said is now coming true. I am now leading a local youth community called TRINITY which stands for 'Transformed life community' with the goal to equip young leaders and missionaries to spread the gospel.

Not only that, God keeps teaching me everyday about being a leader through my family, friends, church, communities and etc. He even brought me to the Asia missions conference last year in Hongkong where I met many church leaders and missionaries in Asia, we shared and I learned a lot from them. And since october to december last year I was selected as one of Indonesian youth ambassadors of goodwill and joined a leadership training called SSEAYP (the Ship for Japan and Southeast Asian Youth Program) together with another 26 participating youth from Indonesia. What an honor. The enemy didn't stop the attack, though. My mom passed away when I was still in the re-entry program in Jakarta. He made me to feel sorry that I joined that leadership training, coz I lost the last three months with my mom, I didn't even get to say goodbye. I was totally broken back then. It was a blue christmas for me. I kept blaming myself. But life must go on. I believe as what Annelise said, this experience just makes me stronger.

So, I am now back to my school. Got so many thing to do. I still have around 8 months before graduation "amen!!!" I'm strugling though with my thesis. I'm planning on writing about bible translation. I really need your support and prayer in this area. Sometimes the teacher won't really care about it and therefore some of my friends are still being student and haven't graduate yet. I need and I must graduate this year coz that's my promise to my mom and besides I do believe God has so many thing in store for me, there are places to go to, there are people to reach out, and there's a good news to be shared. I know God uses my study as one of the process for me but I don't it to get in the way between me and my calling. I'm also back to my service as the leader in Trinity. Its been a while since I went to Japan.

I would like to thank everyone who has been my prayer warriors. Thanks for the love and support through out this time. Can't say how blessed I am to have you all in my life.

See you in my next post.

BTW, my twin brother Joe is now serving the Lord as a musician. :)

It fulfilled what is said by the person God sent years ago. We never knew who he was. Could he be an angel of God?

God bless you.

Love from West-Timor, Indonesia

I was driving to the grocery store just thinking of everything on my list to do today. Taking the kids to soccer practice, cleaning the house, getting groceries, getting the oil changed in the car, the list went on and on. I was feeling overwhelmed and was already tired before I had even gotten started."

On my way to the store I saw something horrible happen!! A train had run into a car that was crossing the tracks. I thought "Oh no!, This is horrible, there is no way the driver of that car could have lived!!" I was the closest car to the tracks so I put my car in park and got out. I ran over to the car and looked in and could not believe what I was seeing. Tears came to my eyes and I just couldn't take it. Inside the car was a woman driving that was obviously dead. In the backseat was a baby in it's car seat bleeding everywhere and next to the baby was a little girl who I guessed to be about 4 years old and she was bleeding also. Just then the little girl spoke.

She said, "Is my mommy and baby sister okay?" I just looked at her and said "Honey I don't know. There is a doctor on his way right now." Just then the little girl started crying saying, "Don't take my mommy and my baby sister - Take me with you too!! Please!!" She was pleading at who knows what to take her - but take her where?? I asked the little girl who she was talking to and she said, "Don't you see? That Angel is taking my mommy and my baby sister! I want to go with them too! My mommy is waving goodbye to me and she is holding my baby sister and she is smiling!" The little girl started to cry because she did not want to stay, she wanted to go with her mommy and her baby sister. I felt so sorry for her. I didn't believe in god and I thought to myself, where did an Angel come from? What kind of God would take a mommy and a baby but not the little sister?

At that moment I saw the little girl start to smile so big as she held her arms out to something, someone to pick her up. I thought to myself that she must be delirious and maybe she is hurt worse than I thought. Just then the little girl closed her eyes and slumped over in her seat. She was dead! I couldn't be sad even though this was a 4 year old little girl that had just died. You wouldn't be sad either if you could see that beautiful smile on her face! I guess her mommy and baby sister came back to get her. That was also the day that God came to get me - as that was the day that I became a believer and turned my life over to the Living God.

There were two frogs that had become bored with life in the River Torrens, so they decided to go on an adventure to a neighbouring dairy farm.

There they found a bucket of lovely cream, and decided it would be a wonderful experience to wallow in it. They hopped in. The first licked his lips with delight, and the two swam around with momentary joy. But cream is much thicker than water, and soon the frogs tired. It was time to get out and return to the Torrens.

The first frog kicked and kicked and kicked, but the cream was thick, and he couldn'tt get out the bucket. Soon he gave up, licked his lips, and drowned in the bucket of cream.

The second frog was far more determined. He kicked and kicked and kicked and kicked some more. Eventually the cream turned to butter, and he jumped out of the bucket and returned to the River Torrens.

Attitude does make a difference to the outcomes of our lives. "Dont give up on life kick on".

During a momentous battle, a Japanese general decided to attack even though his army was greatly outnumbered. He was confident they would win, but his men were filled with doubt. On the way to the battle, they stopped at a religious shrine. After praying with the men, the general took out a coin and said, "I shall now toss this coin. If it is heads, we shall win. If tails, we shall lose. Destiny will now reveal itself."

He threw the coin into the air and all watched intently as it landed. It was heads. The soldiers were so overjoyed and filled with confidence that they vigorously attacked the enemy and were victorious. After the battle, a lieutenant remarked to the general, "No one can change destiny."

"Quite right," the general replied as he showed the lieutenant the coin, which had heads on both sides.

There’ll come a day when all our tears will fade away

There’ll come a day to stop the pain

Lift up your face and see the beauty of the day

When the ocean smiles to you

This is the day for all our tears to fade away

This is the day to stop the pain

Open your eyes you’ll see the beauty of the waves

Coz the ocean laughs with you

CHORUS

The ocean sings for you and I

The ocean wanna see your smile

The ocean wish you’ll never cry

Coz it’ll be a bridge

For us to never say good bye.

Composed by : Jack Loloin (IPY - SG E)

PS :

I dedicate this song to all PYs, Administrators, NLs, and the Ship Crew. Let this be our song of friendship. One day when you think of this moment just look at the ocean. Even if we’re separated by distance always remember, the ocean is the bridge and it will always be a bridge for us to never say good bye!

I wake up in the morning

Everything’s so wrong, something’s gone

And I’m alone

In the middle of the crowd

I hear the people laughing

But I’m crying

I’m so left out

I’m out of place, need to find a way

To you

CHORUS

Good morning Indonesia, all my love to you

Here I am so far away but my heart will always be there

Good morning Indonesia, how I miss you so

I promise you to be a light that everyone can see you

Good morning Indonesia
