Trinity Becomes Popular at School

Its always exciting to be talking about what God has been doing so far in Trinity. Wow, I can't believe God trust me leading this revival that is taking place among these young people. I never dreamt of it before.
I remember that time when I was so legalistic even after I was born again. I tried to appear so spiritual but the more I tried the more I failed. In 2006 I got accepted in Nusa Cendana University, majoring Language and Art where I met many of those who later I call TRINITIANS (Members of Trinity Community). It wasn't easy though since I started by trying to be very spiritual that even if I have a good personality but not many people wanted to be near me as they thought they're sinners and they just can't be friend with me. There was a sort of gab between me and them.
For me its just impossible to reach out to them if they keep looking at me as a very spiritual person. So I approached them and treated them like friends. It was not necessarily to bring them to Jesus, but at least I showed them that I care about them. It worked.
I invited to join the youth exchange selection and then I invited them to take part as translators in a ministry with the Calvary Chapel Team from the US through which many of them came to Jesus personally. No one ever really cared about them this way, they said.
Ministries we did with the team from California really bring impact to the lives of my friends. They're no longer the persons they used to be. Revival had taken place in their lives. I still can't believe they're now with me doing ministry, coming to bible study and the most remarkable thing of all is that they are diligent. Some of them used to be very careless about God, ministry and everything dealing with Christianity. Not simply careless, they hated everything about Christianity.
Talking about God with them would never work then. But as they looked at the lives of some friends who have been transformed, they became curious and they kept asking "how could it be? . They just cant believe some of their friends became believers and how their lives transformed. Not only that they are transformed, they're success with their study at school, especially dealing with the translation subject.

I remember one day, a friend who was a punk kid at school came to me and asked how it feels to be a Christian and join the Trinity. I could see the desire in him to feel the transformation as well. So I invited him to join us in the bible study where he received Christ personally. Halleluyah!!!
Now most of my schoolmates have joined Trinity. The impact of transformation in their life is so amazing. It makes me smile everytime they got good achievement at school and people will say "They must be the Trinity kids". God is good. Trinity is now popular at School. Pray that God will keep us humble. Thank God now the members of Trinity are not only from my school but from some more schools and universities. God is really working in their lives.
Many times in suffering I feel like I just wanna give up but looking at their spiritual growth, man, it revives my spirit again. I really feel like a father in this community.
We can't wait for every meeting, discipleship, and hangout together. We meet everyday, eat food together, sharing with the accountability group and partner, study the word, watching movies and stuff. We thank God for having a great mentor like Brandon who is so faithful in serving the Lord, giving us advice and feed us with the word.
We are so thankful for the resources that we have; books, CD's, DVD's, Bibles and stuff, wow its more than what we expected.
The year is almost end and how I smile everytime I look back to the days and the fellowship that God has blessed us with.
We're looking forward to what God has in store for all of us.

GOD BLESS YOU

ONI
hmmmm.... for me trinity has big impact and influence in my life. Since i joined with this fellowship i saw that my spiritual life was really developed and my english became better and better day by day. Not only that in here also i really learned about friendship, be united in Christ as brother and sister, and be one body through accept and love one another no matter how they act, they look like, or what are their characters. i learn to love other and accept them just the way they are. and that really amazing thing that i can learned from trinity beside the word of God. in here also, my mind was really opened with the truth that we learned in bible trainning. before that i though that i knew better the word of God, but here i knew that what i knew before only just lil part from the un measurable knowledge and wisdom about God. and that was really amazing. not only stop there cuz i have so many things that i got from this fellowship and if i write here, it will not enough. but if i summarize the trinity's impact in my life, i just can say one sentence:
"through trinity i learn to live full lives".

big smile,

oni ^_^

Thanks,,

MEY
Trinity has been an answer to my prayer. During my study time in Java i prayed for my vision and future then God told me to go back to Kupang. I was really frustrated at that time because i knew the environment very well, i felt that my future wont be good in Kupang. So frustrated looking at the lack of knowledge, immorality, life's values and the behavior of the people. But i do believe those are the reasons why i should go back. I pray that God gives me partners, a youth community who is crazy in love with God and have passion to pursue God's vision in their young age. I gave up, i admitted that i would never find that kind of group of youth in Kupang, but finally God draw me to Trinity. The words of God that i learn every week help me to face this tough life day by day in my work and daily life, it also strengthen my vision. The friendship among the Trinitians help me to adjust again with Kupang life and also they make me feel like home. We share and encourage each other in spirit. I do love the teaching which only based on bible, with no speculation or talk about something unreal. I love Trinity!

CEASY
For me Trinity has been like my 2nd home. The same thing between Trinity n my "real" home is that it provides "good food" for me which is the truth of God. I learn so many things about God n His greatest plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. It changed me a lot. i used to b a worrier, i never really had strong believe about something even in God. i was born in Christian family but never really knew who Jesus Christ is, but then i was born again spiritually through JC in Trinity, have new brothers n sisters, have a closer relationship with God and the most important thing is that i know for sure that i'll b with God in heaven. what a great reward!!!

Jadi bagaimana supaya iman kita kuat?

My full name is Jacobus January Loloin, people usually call me Jack. That’s it, very simple. I have 2 brothers (one of them is my twin) and 2 sisters.
I was raised up by my mom’s older sister who I called mom since I was a baby.
I’m a Jesus lover. I was born again when I was around 10 or 11. Things were difficult back then that I couldn’t really grow spiritually.

My birth mom and dad left for Jakarta when I was about 3 years old, leaving me and my 2 brothers and my older sister. That was the last time I ever see her face as she past away in Jakarta about 7 or 8 years later. My dad just went with another woman after mom passing away and that caused a deep revenge in me.

I grew up with bitterness toward my dad, self rejection, low self confidence and stuff. I then signed myself up in a martial art since I was in elementary school till I was in high school willing to pay revenge one day. I hated every father back then.

It was until I was in Senior High School that I started to forgive my dad. Its not easy… It took God’s grace to really help me release all the past hurt and disappointment. I wouldn’t be able to do that unless God through His Spirit and grace enabled me.

I love music and singing and am now working on my single and album.

I study Language and Art in the university and am now working also at STL (Shine The Light) International, a Christian NPO that works in humanitarian and mission field. I also am a leader of a Christian Youth Community called TRINITY (Transformed Life Community) where we study the bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse.
God has been faithful in my life that He doesn’t leave me as helpless and hopeless orphan. He gives me future just as He had promised in JEREMIAH 29:11.
Instead of being broken I got good achievements since high school, scholarship and He made me one of the Youth Ambassadors who represent my country in Japan and ASEAN countries on 2010.

He transforms my life and He gets me to where I am and makes me who I am today. I learn a lot from my past and God use those hatred, disappointment, hurt and revenge as testimonies to His people. What I’m saying is “If God can change and use me, He will change you too”
